Career Highlights

AES [Accelerated Enrollment Solutions] - Director of Demand and Delivery Planning

In response to market disruption caused by the Pandemic, Josh led efforts to blueprint and successfully implement Video Visits for patients during COVID to ensure continuous remote clinical research. Video appointment volume returned to near Pre-COVID levels for active studies. Josh refocused the Operations Division on key metrics to increase consenting from 10% to 26%, attendance from 43% to 51%, and Daily Patients Scheduled from 89 to 302, driving meaningful results with a clear vision.

Josh developed vertical integration strategy for 3 business units, mapping, designing, and implementing fresh business strategy to achieve 6x improvement in time spent and 23% revenue increase in EOA to Contract Signature. Josh led Salesforce deployment enterprise wide to reduce inefficiencies and improve performance by 18% with a single source of  truth.

Clarkston Consulting - Senior Consultant

Josh led Kinaxis implementation project to develop forecasting strategy, increasing 60-day-out accuracy 20% and ensuring supply chain transformation for leading pharmaceutical company. Harmonized COGS yielded better visibility on actual margin, improving by 11% for SAP Implementation Advisory for leading consumer goods company. Josh led the project to blueprint Lifesciences template synchronizing processes, technology, and training to improve speed of deployment to new and existing entities with 100% regulation compliance for SAP E2E Implementation for the multinational biopharmaceutical company. Josh initiated the global Master Data Governance Program.

Campbell Soup - Demand Planner, Senior Demand Planner

In demand leadership roles, Josh created statistical models utilizing Six Sigma methodology to better forecast at item/location level. Josh improved SAP mix and disaggregation analytics strategy to better represent seasonality of all U.S. retail  brands.

He developed new templates for cross-functional teams to improve residual inventory tracking at customer locations by utilizing IRI consumption data to better project sales by ship point yielding significant accuracy improvements. Larger brands ($80MM annually) yielded 15% YoY improvement, saving $1MM in “throw away” product. Worked cross-functionally to ensure all changes caused zero disruption throughout the chain.

Arkema - Demand Manager

As Demand Manager for the international procurement of raw materials, packaging, and coating products with an annual budget of $90 M, Josh served as project lead on relocation of production lines, yielding increased profitability of U.S. operations and creating a safety stock plan for 90% custom business as production capabilities changed. Assessed all potential production capability gaps throughout transition. Negotiated short term contract commitments for key suppliers to ensure zero supply disruptions during capacity/production transition. Created, implemented, and presented strategy of co-extruded products into the marketplace utilizing customer relationships and cross-functional collaboration with marketing, sales, and finance. Developed long term supplier contracts and inventory strategies to gain 30% growth vs annual projections and 100% availability throughout the startup.

Walmart - Replenishment Manager

Josh established alternate end cap display strategy for all of Walmart grocery, leveraging historical information to yield “Traffic Light” segments for flexible distribution. His initiatives led to increased YoY sales and decreased pipeline inventory using strategy that sent less product to stores with “throw away” percentages above threshold and increasing products at stores which historically ended promotions with less than full display. Ultimately, Josh managed end-cap strategy for the team, then department, and all of grocery. He successfully utilized Six Sigma strategy to identify the best opportunities for sales.
